From António Maçanita's Fita Preta brand, this is a white wine produced from traditional Alentejo grape varieties: Arinto, Alicante Branco, and field blends from old vines.
It is a minimal intervention wine, with no added sulfur until the end of fermentation and spontaneous fermentation in barrels. It has an intense, complex aroma that combines notes of grapefruit and orange peel with a hint of fresh cream.
It is a complex wine that pairs well with more elaborate baked fish, fish stews, or simpler white meats.
