Terrantez do Pico is an autochthonous grape variety exclusive to the Azores islands. The vines are located at the base of the Pico volcanic mountain, planted in rock crevices by the sea. These are unique characteristics that result in a pure, fresh wine with good acidity and a strong saline component.
