From the Companhia de Vinhos dos Profetas e Villões project, by António Maçanita and Nuno Faria, comes the Tinta Negra dos Villões.
The Tinta Negra grape variety is part of the traditional vineyards of the island of Madeira, and still today forms the basis for the island's famous wines. The grapes come from three plots in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos and São Vicente. It has notes of fresh strawberry and some vegetal hints, and good acidity.
It is a very elegant and fresh wine, ideal for transitioning from fish to meat, or for more complex fish dishes.
